The trailer of upcoming film Dil Bechara is out and it already trending all over the world.

Dil Bechara is an upcoming Hindi-language coming-of-age romantic drama film. It stars late Sushant Singh RajputSaif Ali Khan and debutante Sanjana Sanghi. The film was initially titled Kizie Aur Manny, but in February 2019 the title was officially changed to Dil Bechara. This was felt to be perfectly embody the theme and had been chosen from lyrics penned by Bhattacharya and composed by Rahman as one of the tracks in the film.

The film is inspired by John Green’s book “The Fault In Our Stars”, which was also adapted into Hollywood film with the same name and it featured Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in the lead roles. The film revolves around two cancer patients Kizie Basu (Sanjana Sanghi) and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior aka Manny (Sushant Singh Rajput) and explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic adventure of being alive and in love. Saif Ali Khan will be seen in an interesting role in the romantic drama.

The film has been directed by casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who is making his debut as a director with the movie. The film’s music has been composed by AR Rahman.

The film’s release has been postponed multiple times, due to post-production delays and then again due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Dil Bechara is slated to release on Disney+Hotstar on July 24 and it will be available to both subscribers as well as non-subscribers of the streaming platform.

Disney+Hotstar decided to allow the subscribers as well as non-subscribers to enjoy the film as a tribute to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Via post on Instagram it said, “A story of love, hope, and endless memories. Celebrating the late #SushantSinghRajput‘s legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara coming to everyone on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at home in Mumbai on June 14. Dil Bechara would be his last film.
