Romantic short film Waft crossed one lakh view on YouTube. The film is written by Aaron Lance and produced by Green Parrot Talkies. According to director Vishnu:
Waft is a passage of Ashvath’s life where he struggles to find where Aradhya has disappeared. His life has taken a turn ever since she leaves him after what appeared to be a normal love-tiff. I approached the film, not as much from the perspective of the lost-love, but from how one comes to terms with a grim reality. I did not want to paint the picture in gloomy tones, and focused more on a narrative that leaves more room for viewers to interpret and make their own conclusions. There has been a conscious intent not to ‘spoon-feed’ the audience with the focus on being subtle – and leaving behind a few red herrings for discerning to take cues from. The climax and take-away from the film is open to audience interpretation.
